     "Two years ago I turned 50 and had my base line bone scan.  I learned that I was slightly below the minimal level bone density for my hips/pelvis and right at minimum for my spine.  The prescription was a choice of drugs, increasing calcium intake or exercise.  I am an active person.  I have always exercised weekly both with a home weight gym and outdoor activities, so I was taken aback that I needed more weight bearing exercises.  I was not interested in drugs unless as a last resort.  I tried calcium supplements with poor results.  I discussed my frustration with my husband, who led me to Adam.
     I am amazed at the difference of how I think I pushed myself when working out versus what these guys can get out of me.  They just do not allow me to slack off.  They understand my goal and when I waver they refocus me to that goal.
     Bone scans are usually done every two years, but I pestered my doctor into another after one year of working out with Adam and his group.  My second scan showed much improvement in both critical areas, raising me into normal range.  My doctor said that the usual scenario is that once bone density loss starts, it does not stop, let alone improve!
     Adam and I have worked out a schedule that includes monthly breaks to keep the workouts fresh.  My mentality is that I will continue to workout with them indefinitely.  They have become part of the team of professionals that are helping me reach my goal of staying active and healthy as I age."

"After my freshman year of playing lacrosse for Penn I decided I really needed to increase my speed if I wanted to be an integral player my sophomore year. They made a replica training ladder for me that I took to school so I was able to continue my training throughout the season in addition to my school workouts.
